Behaviour
Before one-to-one counselling, the dog will have a full health check by one of our vets in order to rule out any underlying health issues that could be contributing to the behaviour. Murphy & Co Director Fiona Murphy and Veterinary Nurse/Cat Advocate Morgan Owen both have an interest in feline behaviour and are able to provide advice and support for common behavioural issues. All cats will need to have an initial health check with one of our vets to rule out any underlying medical conditions that may be causing the behavioural issues and then Fiona and Morgan can carry out a home visit to see the cat(s) in their home environment, completing a questionnaire regarding their normal routine and current environment. A plan will then be drawn up designed for your cat’s individual behavioural needs. This will then be reviewed at regular visit sessions with Morgan until the issues have resolved or at least improved. If needed we can seek further advice from Behavioural Referrals, based in Chester as we are signed up to their subscription service.
