COVID-19 Update
13/1/2021
My team and I would like to thank our clients for their patience, understanding and continued support during the last eleven months.
Following on from the latest lockdown update from the Welsh Minister we will remain open with our usual opening times for all pets needing essential treatment.
The current procedure for attending the practice will remain in place.
- Please notify us of your arrival by ringing the practice number or doorbell on the front door. We advise you come to your appointment with a mobile phone for the vet to talk to you to limit face to face contact.
- The nurse will come out to collect your pet from a 2metre distance and the vet will call you to discuss your pet’s symptoms whilst you stay in your car.
- She will then exam your pet and phone you to discuss her findings and dispense medications.
- For any payment’s reception will come out to you with a card machine or you are welcome to pay over the phone when you get home.
- If it is raining please wait in the car to save you and your pet getting wet.

Essential Treatment
This includes primary vaccinations for puppies, kittens and rabbits. Your pets first annual booster, If your pet is overdue their booster by up to three months, then we can also provide this. Currently, we are unable to offer 6month health checks and routine nail clips. For anything else please call the practice and we will be able to advise you accordingly.
We are still able to neuter cats and rabbits but for any dog neutering please call and speak to a vet first. All essential operations will go ahead as normal. For any medication, flea, wormer or food please call the practice as usual and your prescription will be ready within 24 hours.
Can I please remind you that our staff are following guidelines set by our governing body RCVS ( The royal College of Veterinary surgeons ) and the BVA ( British Veterinary Association ) , and whilst we understand your frustrations at not being able to come into the practice, we would ask you to respect the staff at all times. The team work incredibly hard on top of the additional cleaning protocols and these steps are needed to protect our clients and themselves in order to continue to provide your pets care.
Thanks again for your continued support.
